Jul 9 - 10, 2013	TRB	National Congestion Pricing Conference - The conference is designed to raise the awareness, advance the state-of-the-practice, and identify potential research and technology transfer needs related to congestion pricing deployment strategies in the United States. The conference will explore results from the six Urban Partnership and Congestion Reduction Demonstration Program projects. Innovative projects and studies implemented under the Value Pricing Pilot Program will also be examined. In addition, speakers will present the results of travel behavior surveys conducted in Atlanta, Georgia, as well as Seattle, Washington. Sep 12 - 13, 2013		Ohio Conference on Freight - The Toledo Metropolitan Area Council of Governments (TMACOG), the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) and the National Association of Regional Councils (NARC) are pleased to announce the 7th annual Ohio Conference on Freight. This conference continues to support leaders in planning, engineering, logistics, supply chain, production, academia, development, and other transportation sectors that support goods movement across the nation. The Ohio Conference on Freight offers high-quality, educational workshops, practical keynote sessions, an expanded networking reception, and a relevant tours. Oct 10 - 11, 2013	Transportation Sustainability Resource Center	Shared Use Mobility Summit - The Shared-Use Summit will be a two-day event that brings together mobility providers, policymakers, stakeholders, and interested members of the media and public. The first day will be dedicated to media and education on the state of the growing shared-use mobility industry. The second day will offer working sessions for about 100 participants, including the world’s experts in the fields of carsharing, one-way carsharing, peer-to-peer (P2P) carsharing, public bikesharing, ridesharing, and related sharing economy companies, representatives from regulatory and planning agencies, and allied industries, such as auto insurance companies, vehicle manufacturers, and technology providers to discuss issues pertaining to each of these fields, as well as shared-use mobility system integration. Apr 9 - 11, 2014	TRB	Fifth International Transportation and Economic Development Conference - The conference is designed to address the important role that investments in all transportation modes have on the economic development potential and global competiveness of communities, regions, and nations. The conference will include keynote speakers, general sessions, and breakout sessions. The breakout sessions will provide more focused discussions on techniques to promote economic development through transportation investments; the economic implications of trends in funding; the impacts of all forms of transit; climate change; global trade; and urban development policies. Other topics expected to be addressed during the meeting include freight and the impact of the expansion of the Panama Canal, economic development analysis tools, and techniques to communicate with the public and policy makers. Jun 23 - 26, 2013	Center for Transportation Excellence	Transit Initiatives and Communities - CFTE conducts the biennial Transit Initiatives and Communities Conference to bring together transit agencies, local officials, transportation supporters, advocates, and ballot measure campaign professionals to discuss the latest information on transportation ballot measures. Conference sessions offer insights into recent elections and key trends shaping campaigns. Sessions are interactive and provide extensive case studies. Aug 19, 2013		Tribal Transportation Planning Module Training Series Webinar: Project Prioritization - The Tribal Transportation Planning Module Training Series provides modules for eleven planning topics, including five new topics, and is designed to assist transportation professionals responsible for planning for the capital, operating, and maintenance needs on Tribal lands. The Tribal Planning Module Training Series is also designed as a resource for non-tribal planners who work with tribal agencies to improve awareness of unique tribal needs and interests.
